Bahçekapılı Tekstil combines quality with elegance

Established in 2009, Bahçekapılı Tekstil; produces mattress sets, towels, bathrobes, fleece blankets, plush blankets, jersey fitted sheets, combed cotton sheets, welsoft and fleece fabric. The company continues to serve its customers with a wide range of products for homes and hotels. We talked with

Tekstil, which exports to many countries of Europe, about their target to sell to the whole of Europe and the American continent.

Could you give us information about Bahçekapılı Tekstil, one of the respected names of the knitting and weaving industry, and your products?

From the first moment we entered the sector, we receive most of our demands from abroad and 80% of our sales are export-oriented. Our product groups include duvet covers, towels, bathrobes, quilts, pillows, bedspreads, jersey fitted sheets, liquid-proof mattress protectors, baby, teen and adult models. We sell in the domestic market and abroad with our brands Bahcekapili Home and Manno Kitchen. In addition, we provide dealerships and service to our consumers with many sales points. We carefully examine the demands of our customers who want to produce and collect their own brands and include them in our production.

Could you give information about your products in the sector, your position in the market, your power, goals and plans at home and abroad?

We aim to increase our share in domestic and foreign markets and to establish the necessary infrastructures to further our brand value. We would like to give franchising in both domestic and foreign markets, to shop with our own brand and to communicate with wholesale distributors. On the other hand, we are conducting market researches on how we can make better investments with commercial organizations and other countries. We look very strong in the industry because we have the capacity to export to many countries. We export to 16 countries around the world and we never compromise on quality.

What are your product-based export activities? Which products do you send the most to which markets? Which countries are your target markets?

The countries we export the most are Germany, Sweden, Poland, Spain, France, Belgium, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, Dubai, Kuwait, America, Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Senegal, Greece, England, Chile and Austria. Apart from these countries, there are countries that we receive demand from. In addition, we are in constant contact with these countries and we keep our business potential strong. We want to be in the whole of Europe and in the American continent by further expanding our target market In the future.

You are producing with Oeko-Tex certificate. What would you like to say about this topic?

Our main purpose in using the certificates is to show that we do not contain harmful chemicals that directly contact human health. All of our products are made with Oeko tex100 Certificate. Apart from that, we use Reach and Gots Certificates.

Could you tell us about your competitive power at home and abroad?

We aim to increase our brand promotion domestically. For this reason, we plan to use all our marketing activities more actively in 2021 and to increase the number of our stores in our country. On the other hand, we carry out the necessary activities to find a position for our brand in foreign markets and to introduce our brand to the people in the best way.

What are the factors that make you different from your competitors?

Our industry is established in an area whose production qualities vary according to quality. Each company can produce the same product with different materials and make it cheaper or expensive. As a company, we are in an effort to produce without cheap raw materials in all of our product groups.

How have you managed the Covid-19 process until today? Have you had any online sales or marketing activities?

A digital trend started all over the world as in our country, and we had the chance to reach many new customers trying to sell through personal sales programs in the Covid 19 period. We do not know how long this interest will continue after the pandemic. Digital resources are more widely used in some countries abroad. For this reason, it was not difficult for people to turn to digital more and achieve success there. When we look at the market in our country, there is a new order regarding online sales, and if it continues in this way, we plan to start selling with our own online platform in the near future.

Do you have any problems in the industry? Which issues would you like to give suggestions for solutions?

We do not have a general problem in our industry because our country is defined as the number one in the textile sector in terms of quality in the world. Thus, we increase the quality of our production and reflect our quality on costs. This situation does not affect our customers badly because we sell quality products to our consumers. Our consumers have a good consciousness in this sense. In addition, more local yarn used in Turkey and thus increase the quality of the yarn. If yarn production continues smoothly, everything will be better for the sector.

 

Bahçekapılı Tekstil kaliteyi şıklıkla birleştiriyor

Ürünleriyle sektörde iyi bir yer edinen şirket, yaptığı çeşitli araştırmalarla kaliteyle beraber en iyi görüntüyü müşterilerine sunmayı hedefliyor.

2009 yılında kurulan Bahçekapılı Tekstil; nevresim takımı, havlu, bornoz, polar battaniye, pelüş battaniye, jersey fitted sheet, penye lastikli çarşaf welsoft ve polar kumaş gibi ürünleri üretiyor. Otellere ve evlere yönelik hizmet veren şirket, geniş ürün yelpazesiyle müşterilerinin isteklerini karşılamaya devam ediyor. Avrupa’nın birçok ülkesine ihracat yapan Bahçekapılı Tekstil’in Genel Müdürü Eyüp Bahçekapılı ile Avrupa’nın tamamına ve Amerika kıtasına açılma hedefleri hakkında konuştuk.

Örgü ve dokuma sektörünün saygın isimlerinden biri olan Bahçekapılı Tekstil ve ürünleriniz hakkında özet bilgi verir misiniz?

Sektöre adım attığımız ilk andan itibaren taleplerimizin büyük bir çoğunluğunu yurt dışından alıyoruz ve satışımızın %80’i ihracat odaklıdır. Ürün gruplarımız içerisinde nevresim, havlu, bornoz, yorgan, yastık, yatak örtüsü, jersey lastikli çarşaf, sıvı geçirmez yatak koruyucu ürün koleksiyonlarımız bebek, genç, yetişkin modelleri üzerine kuruludur. İç pazarda ve yurt dışında başta Bahcekapili Home ve Manno Kitchen markamız ile satış yapıyoruz. Ayrıca bayilikler vererek birçok satış noktaları ile tüketicilerimizle buluşuyoruz.  Aynı zamanda kendi markalarına üretim ve koleksiyon yapmak isteyen müşterilerimizin taleplerini de titizlikle dikkate alıp üretimimize dahil etmekteyiz.

Yurt içinde ve yurt dışında sektördeki ürünleriniz ve bu pazardaki yeriniz, gücünüz, hedef ve planlarınız hakkında bilgi verir misiniz?

Yurt içi ve yurt dışı pazarlarındaki payımızı arttırmak ve marka değerimizi daha ileri bir seviyeye taşımak için gerekli altyapıları kurma hedefindeyiz. Gerek yurt içi gerekse yurt dışı pazarlarda franchising ile bayilik ağını kurmak ve kendi adımıza mağazalaşmak, bayilikler vermek toptan dağıtıcılar ile temas etmek istiyoruz. Diğer taraftan ticari ataşeliklerle ile diğer ülkelerle nasıl daha iyi yatırımlar yapabiliriz diye pazar çalışmaları yürütmekteyiz. Sektördeki gücümüz, birçok ülkeye ihracat yapabilmemizden kaynaklanıyor. Dünyada 16 ülkeye ihracat yapıyoruz ve talep edilen kaliteden asla taviz vermiyoruz.

Ürün bazlı ihracat faaliyetleriniz nelerdir? En çok hangi ürünleri, hangi pazarlara gönderiyorsunuz? Hedef pazarlarınız hangi ülkelerdir?

En çok ihracat yaptığımız ülkeler Almanya, İsveç, Polonya, İspanya, Fransa, Belçika, Romanya, Kırgızistan, Dubai, Kuveyt, Amerika, Karadağ, Hırvatistan, Macaristan, Rusya, Ukrayna, Senegal, Yunanistan, İngiltere, Şili ve Avusturya’dır. Bu ülkeler dışında da talep aldığımız ülkeler var. Ayrıca bu ülkelerle sürekli iletişim halinde olarak iş yapma potansiyelimizi güçlü tutuyoruz. Gelecekte hedef pazarımızı daha da genişleterek Avrupa’nın tamamında ve Amerika kıtasında da olmak istiyoruz.

Oeko-Tex sertifikalı üretim yapıyorsunuz. Başka uluslararası standartlara uyum konusunda neler söyleyebilirsiniz?

Sertifikaları kullanmamızdaki temel amacımız,  insan sağlığına direkt temas eden zararlı kimyasalları üretimimizde bulundurmadığımızı göstermektir. Bütün ürünlerimiz, Oeko tex100 Sertifikası ile yapılmaktadır. Bunun dışında Reach ve Gots Sertifikalarını kullanmaktayız.

Yurt içinde ve yurt dışında rekabet gücünüzden bahseder misiniz?

Yurt içinde markamızın bilinirliğini artırma hedefindeyiz. Bu nedenle tüm pazarlama faaliyetlerimizi, 2021 yılında daha aktif olarak kullanmayı ve ülkemiz içerisinde mağaza sayımızı artırmayı planlamaktayız. Diğer taraftan yurt dışı pazarlarda da markamıza yer bulmak ve markamızı insanlara en iyi şekilde tanıtmak adına gerekli faaliyetleri yürütmekteyiz.

Sizi rakiplerinizden farklı kılan unsurlar nelerdir?

Sektörümüz, üretim niteliklerini kaliteye göre değişiklik gösteren bir alana kuruludur. Her firma, aynı ürünü farklı materyallerle üretip ucuzlatabiliyor veya pahalılaştırıyor. Biz, firma olarak bütün ürün gruplarımızda ucuz materyal hammaddeye yer vermeden üretim yapma çabası içinde oluyoruz.

Covid-19 sürecini bugüne kadar nasıl yönettiniz? Online satış ve/veya pazarlama faaliyetleriniz oldu mu?

Covid 19 sürecinde, ülkemizde olduğu gibi tüm dünyada da bir dijital akım başladı ve kişisel satış programları üzerinden satış yapmaya çalışan birçok yeni müşterilerimize ulaşma şansına sahip olduk. Pandemi sonrası, bu ilgi ne kadar devam eder bunu şimdilik bilemiyoruz. Dijital kaynaklar, yurt dışındaki bazı ülkelerde daha yaygın kullanılıyor. Bu nedenle oralarda insanların dijitale daha fazla yönelmesi ve başarı yakalaması zor olmadı. Ülkemizdeki pazara baktığımızda online satış ile ilgili bir yeni düzen var ve bu şekilde devam ederse yakın zamanda kendi online platformumuz ile satışa geçmeyi planlıyoruz.

Sektörde yaşadığınız problemler var mıdır? Nakliye, hammadde temini, üretim, istihdam konularında sıkıntılar varsa çözüm önerilerinizle birlikte anlatır mısınız?

Sektörümüzde genel olarak yaşadığımız bir sıkıntımız olmuyor çünkü ülkemiz, tekstil sektörü denilince kalite anlamında dünyada bir numara olarak tanımlanıyor. Durum böyle olunca üretimimizdeki kaliteyi artırıyoruz ve kalitemizi maliyetlere yansıtıyoruz. Bu durum müşterilerimizi kötü etkilemiyor çünkü karşılıklı bir kalite alış verişi yapıyoruz. Tüketicilerimiz bu anlamda iyi bir bilince sahip. Türkiye’de de artık yöresel iplik daha fazla kullanılmaya başlandı ve iplik kalitesi daha da arttı. İplik üretimi sorunsuz bir şekilde devam ederse her şey sektör için daha iyi olacaktır.

BYZ Home Furniture proves its success in the industry

BYZ Home Furniture, which started production in Kayseri in 1996, took bold steps in a short time with its young and dynamic staff and became one of the well-known mattress and bed base companies in the sector. Developing its technology and production and increasing its share in the market, the company has succeeded in becoming a brand loved and preferred by consumers by following the trends. BYZ Home keeps its professional staff strong by bringing its administrative structure and production mentality into a suitable manner. We talked with Hasan Deveci, Chairman of the Board of BYZ Home Furniture, which has proven its success in the mattress and bed base sector, about the structure of the company and its future goals.

During the pandemic period, some staff could not continue to work. Various problems occurred for each company. I would like to hear your suggestions on this subject.

The pandemic affected the furniture, mattress and durable consumption sectors as well as all other industries. This period, which started with uncertainties, coincided with the most productive time of our work but we overcame this period with the least problems with our smart planning. People’s consumption habits changed and the pandemic caused panic. People started to focus only on basic need at the beginning of the pandemic.

People postponed their needs such as mattresses and furniture. Therefore, we could not work for a while and our staff could not continue. Therefore, there was a lack of qualified personnel in our industry and our production was disrupted accordingly. While producers were dealing with such problems, prices of raw materials depending on foreign currency increased. Thus, the equipment problem in foreign trade has seriously affected the industry.

Especially at the beginning of the pandemic, companies experienced supply problems in terms of raw materials. Export-oriented companies encountered serious problems in freight and containers. Also, their deadlines and sales suffered. I think that Ministries, Organized Industrial Zones, Non-Governmental Organizations and Chambers of Commerce could make more important contributions to producers in this period.

Could I get information about your production capacity and product range?

We produce mattresses, bases and headboards in 3.500 m2 closed and 6.000 m2 open area in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone. We have the capacity to produce 120-150 double mattresses and 260-300 single mattresses per day in the existing machinery and production line with approximately 30 personnel. From time to time, we also produce project works. We do not sell products that we do not put in our own homes to our customers. We aim to add value to our country by working with this idea. We have 20-22 sets of headboards and mattresses in different sizes and 30-35 mattresses in different sizes. We provide services through wholesale stores in every region of Turkey.

Have you started selling through e-commerce?

As a company that has been in the sector since 1997, we make the majority of our sales to domestic stores as wholesale. The change of times and the shift of consumption habits to the virtual environment enabled us to sell in virtual marketplaces. We adapted to the conditions of the time and started to be interested in e-commerce. Our employees in our company are working to make sales in 6 market places with mattress options of different sizes.

What kind of R&D and innovation processes do you have? Do you do extra work for the comfort of your customers?

Innovation will make us more preferred by customers. As a company, we are aware of this issue. New products will highlight our company and delight our customers. Our greatest goal is to help our customers wake up happy in the morning. This is real innovation for us. We want to produce mattresses that will minimize fatigue and stress with more natural materials and offer innovative products to our consumers. Sleeping is the most important element of our personal health. We are also aware of this and we continue our search for alternative raw materials. In addition, we include the ideas of our masters in our production process. We plan to integrate our R&D products into our production and bring more comfortable products to our consumers.

I wonder about the specific work you do to improve sleep quality. What are you doing about this topic? What kind of work do you have for adults and children?

First of all, sleep quality is related to the daily life of the person. We end all the tiredness and stress of the day by resting. We update the comfort of our products according to the conditions of the time. A hard mattress is often recommended for adult men. Soft mattresses are preferred for women and children. We also market the products we offer regionally in this direction. We use specially designed natural fabrics to minimize stress and fatigue and we prefer mattress layers that are most suitable for the human body.

I want to learn the factors that make your products different in the sector. What do you think is the main reason for this situation?

We are constantly updating our production planning stages. We keep our cost and expenses to a minimum. We bring the best quality and healthy products with the most advantageous prices to our consumers. Our business partners indicate at every opportunity that our products are different and functional, and they appreciate our solution-oriented work. We constantly design new products and offer them to the market with our up-to-date design approach at every opportunity. We are loved as a team and we proudly express this.

Which regions do you export to? What are your general opinions on this issue? I also want to learn the ratio of your exports to your total sales.

We export to the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany, America, Cyprus, Georgia, Mongolia, Northern Iraq, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. We sell in major marketplaces on the internet. We export approximately half of our production. We know that exports contribute to the national economy. In this regard, the support of the state and tax exemption are very important to us. Also, we have a target of 30 percent growth in exports every year.

I want to complete our interview by asking about your goals in the industry.

Our goals rise as we achieve new things. By combining our experiences and energy, we work more planned and make valuable friendships. Good relationships are paramount to us. We work with the vision of being accessible all over the World. So, we want to reach a wider export portfolio. We have determined our basic mission to increase our production comprehensively and to make maximum contribution to the country’s economy. We will work with all our strength to make sure everyone sleeps comfortably. Finally, i sincerely thank Sleep Well Magazine for giving us this opportunity.

Modern çağa ayak uyduran ve en iyi teknolojiden faydalanan şirket, deneyimli ekibiyle pazardaki payını artırmaya devam ediyor.

1996 yılında, Kayseri’de üretime başlayan BYZ Home Mobilya, genç ve dinamik kadrosuyla kısa zamanda cesur adımlar atarak sektördeki bilinen yatak ve baza firmalarından birisi oldu. Teknolojisini ve üretimini geliştiren ve pazardaki payını artıran şirket, modern çağı takip ederek tüketiciler tarafından sevilen ve tercih edilen bir marka olmayı başardı. BYZ Home, idari yapısını ve üretim anlayışını uygun bir hale getirerek profesyonel kadrosunu güçlü tutuyor. Yatak ve baza sektöründeki başarısını kanıtlayan BYZ Home Mobilya’nın Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Hasan Deveci ile şirketin yapısı ve gelecekteki hedefleri hakkında konuştuk.

Pandemi döneminde, bazı personeller işe devem edemedi. Her firma için çeşitli aksaklıklar oldu. Bu konudaki önerilerinizi almak isterim.

Pandemi, bütün sektörleri olduğu gibi mobilya, yatak, dayanıklı tüketim sektörlerini de etkiledi. Belirsizliklerle başlayan bu dönem, çalışmalarımızın en verimli olduğu zamana denk geldi ancak akıllıca yaptığımız planlamalarla bu periyodu en az sorunla atlattık. İnsanların tüketim alışkanlıkları değişti ve salgının ortaya çıkması panik oluşturdu. Pandemi sürecinin başlarında, insanlar sadece temel ihtiyaçlara yönelmeye başladı.

İnsanlar, yatak ve mobilya gibi ihtiyaçlarını ise erteledi. Bu nedenle, bir süreliğine çalışamadık ve personellerimiz işe devam edemedi. Bu yüzden, sektörümüzde kalifiye personel eksikliği ve yer yer buna bağlı olarak üretim aksaklığı oldu. Üreticiler, bu tarz sorunları yaşarken döviz endeksli hammadde fiyatlarındaki artış ve dış ticaretteki ekipman problemi de sektörü ciddi anlamda etkiledi.

Özellikle pandemi döneminin başlangıcında, firmalar hammadde konusunda tedarik problemleri yaşadı. İhracat ağırlıklı çalışan firmalar, navlun ve konteyner konusunda ciddi problemlerle karşılaştı. Ayrıca, terminleri ve satışları zarara uğradı. Bu dönemde; Bakanlıklar, Organize Sanayi Bölgeleri, Sivil Toplum Kuruluşları ve Ticaret Odaları üreticilere daha önemli katkılar sağlayabilirlerdi diye düşünüyorum.

Üretim kapasiteniz ve ürün çeşitleriniz hakkında bilgi alabilir miyim?

Kayseri Organize Sanayi Bölgesi’nde, 3.500 m2 kapalı 6.000 m2 açık alanda yatak, baza ve başlık üretiyoruz. Yaklaşık 30 personel ile mevcut makine ve üretim hattında, günde 120-150 arası çift kişilik, 260-300 arası tek kişilik yatak üretebilme kapasitesine sahibiz. Zaman zaman proje işleri de üretiyoruz. Kendi evimize koymadığımız ürünleri, müşterilerimize de satmıyoruz. Bu düşünceyle çalışarak ülkemize değer katmayı amaçlıyoruz. 20-22 set farklı ölçülerde başlıklı baza ve yatak, 30-35 adet arası farklı ölçülerde yatak çeşitlerimiz var. Türkiye’nin her bölgesinde, toptan mağazalar aracılığıyla hizmet veriyoruz.

E-ticaret üzerinden satış yapmaya başladınız mı?

1997 yılından beri sektörün içinde olan bir firma olarak satışlarımızın büyük çoğunluğunu toptan olarak yurtiçi mağazalarına yapıyoruz. Zamanın değişmesi, tüketim alışkanlıklarının sanal ortama yönelmesi sanal pazar yerlerinde satış yapmamızı sağladı. Biz de zamanın şartlarına uyum sağladık ve e-ticaretle ilgilenmeye başladık. Şirketimizde, çalışanlarımız farklı ölçülerdeki yatak seçenekleriyle 6 pazar yerinde satış yapmamız için çalışıyor.

Ne tür AR-GE ve inovasyon süreçleriniz var?  Müşterilerinizin konforu için ek çalışmalar yapıyor musunuz?

İnovasyon, müşteriler tarafından daha fazla tercih edilmemizi sağlayacaktır. Biz, şirket olarak bu konunun farkındayız. Yeni ürünler, şirketimizi ön plana çıkaracak ve müşterilerimizi memnun edecektir. Bizim en büyük amacımız, müşterilerimizin sabah mutlu uyanmalarına yardım etmektir. Bizim için gerçek inovasyon budur. Daha doğal malzemelerle, yorgunluk ve stresi minimuma indirecek yataklar üretip tüketicilerimize inovatif ürünler sunmak istiyoruz. Uyumak, kişisel sağlığımızın en önemli unsurudur. Biz de bunun bilincindeyiz ve alternatif hammadde arayışlarımızı sürdürüyoruz. Ayrıca, ustalarımızın fikirlerini üretim sürecimize dahil ediyoruz.  AR-GE ürünlerimizi üretimimize entegre ederek daha konforlu ürünleri, tüketicilerimizle buluşturmayı planlıyoruz.

Uyku kalitesini artırmak için yaptığınız özel çalışmaları merak ediyorum. Bu konu hakkında neler yapıyorsunuz? Yetişkinler ve çocuklar için ne tür çalışmalarınız var?

Uyku kalitesi her şeyden önce, kişinin günlük yaşantısıyla ilgilidir. Günün bütün yorgunluğuna ve stresine dinlenerek son veririz. Biz, ürünlerimizin rahatlığını zamanın şartlarına göre güncelliyoruz. Yetişkin erkekler için genellikle sert yatak öneriliyor. Kadınlar ve çocuklar için ise yumuşak yatak tercih ediliyor. Biz de bölgesel olarak sunduğumuz ürünleri, bu doğrultuda pazarlıyoruz. Stresi ve yorgunluğu en aza indirmek için özel tasarlanan doğal kumaşları kullanıyoruz ve insan vücuduna en uygun olan yatak katmanlarını tercih ediyoruz.

Sizin ürünlerinizi, sektörde farklı yapan faktörleri öğrenmek istiyorum. Sizce bu durumun temel sebebi nedir?

Üretim planlama aşamalarımızı sürekli güncelliyoruz. Maliyet ve giderlerimizi minimum seviyede tutuyoruz. En avantajlı fiyatlarla en kaliteli ve sağlıklı ürünleri tüketicilerimizle buluşturuyoruz. İş ortaklarımız, ürünlerimizin farklı ve işlevsel olduğunu her fırsatta belirtir ve çözüm odaklı çalışmalarımız da takdir ederler. Her fırsatta, güncel tasarım anlayışımızla, sürekli yeni ürünler tasarlıyoruz ve pazara sunuyoruz. Biz, ekip olarak seviliyor ve bunu gururla ifade ediyoruz.

Hangi bölgelere ihracat yapıyorsunuz, bu konudaki genel görüşleriniz nelerdir? İhracatınızın toplam satışınızdaki oranını da öğrenmek istiyorum.

Hollanda, Belçika, Fransa, Almanya, Amerika, Kıbrıs, Gürcistan, Moğolistan, Kuzey Irak, Suudi Arabistan ve Güney Afrika’ya ihracat yapıyoruz. İnternet üzerinden büyük pazar yerlerinde de satış yapıyoruz. Üretimimizin, yaklaşık olarak yarısını ihraç ediyoruz. İhracatın ülke ekonomisine katkısı olduğunu biliyoruz. Bu konuda, devletin desteği ve vergi muafiyeti bizim için çok önemlidir. Ayrıca, her yıl ihracat konusunda yüzde 30 büyüme hedefimiz var.

Sektördeki hedeflerinizi sorarak röportajımızı tamamlamak istiyorum.

Hedeflerimiz, yeni şeyler başardıkça yükseliyor. Yaşadığımız tecrübeleri ve enerjimizi birleştirerek daha planlı çalışıp değerli dostluklar ediniyoruz. İyi ilişkiler bizim için her şeyden önemli. Tüm dünyada ulaşılabilir olma vizyonuyla çalışıyoruz. Bu yüzden, daha geniş bir ihracat portföyüne ulaşmayı istiyoruz. Üretimimizi kapsamlı olarak arttırmak ve ülke ekonomisine maksimum katkı sağlamayı temel misyonumuz olarak belirledik. Herkes rahat uyusun diye var gücümüzle çalışacağız. We talked with Ümit Hakkı Yıldırım, the General Coordinator of Uyum Yatak, which sells to many countries around the world, about the company’s activities and plans that aim to provide a healthy and comfortable sleep.

I want to start my questions with the pandemic period. What experiences have you had during this period?

The pandemic period, which affected the economic situation of countries and the social-psychological life of all people, directly affected producers like us. In this context, we have gained some new experiences. We had some problems with raw materials and spare parts and understood the importance of these inputs better. Innovation and overstocking are a bit risky in the pandemic period. Therefore, we experienced that we had to be more balanced.

Could you tell us about your production capacity and product range?

We can say that our production capacity is an average of 25000 mattresses per year. This figure may vary depending on the product to be produced and the size of the product. Our mattress types are in many different structures such as visco, pocket spring, bonel spring, natural foam. We also have a wide variety of products if we add the mattress fabric’s color, pattern and fabric content. In addition to our mattress production, we also produce bed bases and headboards. Likewise, we are working to increase our range of colors and models in the production of bed bases and headboards.

How can your customers reach you for online trading? Also, what kind of work do you have on e-commerce to improve your relationships with consumers?

We have completed our infrastructure so that our customers can access our products and make purchases in e-commerce. Our internet customers can easily access renewed images, size, price and product information of all our products from our website www.uyumyatak.com.tr. We offer our customers installment and bank card options and we work with iyzico, which is a very common payment platform in e-commerce. On the other hand, we cooperate with leading brands to deliver our products all over Turkey. In our online addresses, we display the most preferred mattresses in the market places. We organize campaigns on our own websit. We will continue our activities in the field of e-commerce, advertising and social media platforms. If we continue to work in this way, we believe that we will reach the level we aim in this regard, as in every subject.

How is your perspective on innovative products? What are you doing to present new products to your customers?

We think that innovation and research processes should never stop. We determine a production understanding that is always open to innovation with the logic of “The only constant is change itself.” In this context, we offer our customers our products that can be renewed for today’s needs, contain natural materials and have hygienic products and the best technology. We receive positive feedback from our dealers and we continue our R&D researches rapidly.

Do you design special products for people with health problems or working under difficult conditions? What kind of work do you have on this subject?

We design various mattresses for every age, weight and different lifestyles. We produce special products for many people who spend a long time of the day on their feet, do sports more or less, have low back pain, and have spinal disorders. We have serious experience in this field and we produce hybrid mattresses by combining the most suitable materials. We try to give our customers the best service with our quality and technological products.

I also want to learn the main reasons that make your products different in the sector.

Our priority is always the satisfaction of our customers. We produce quality products with our 50 years of experience. We always care equally about quality and durability. For this reason, we are a preferred and popular brand in the sector. We know that we are different from our competitors in this regard. We receive various compliments from our environment. Such situations motivate us more and increase our understanding of service towards our customers.

Which regions do you export to? What are your general opinions on this issue? I also want to learn the ratio of your exports to your total sales.

We export to Ukraine, Bulgaria, Egypt, Greece and Turkic Republics. We are among the international companies by developing in the foreign market. Generally, we export to Europe more frequently, but with the start of the pandemic, our exports were disrupted for a while. We had a good opportunity to work with France, Germany and Serbia before the pandemic. We also worked with Libya. Finally, the ratio of our exports to our general sales is around 10%.

I want to conclude our interview by asking your biggest goal in the industry.

We have been serving in the sector for many years. Knowing the advantage and dignity of our experience, we want to fulfill our responsibility towards our customers. This is our biggest goal. On the other hand, we plan to compensate every need by making various innovations. In recent years, the sleep sector has expanded enormously and our competitors have increased. There is a good competitive environment. We aim to maintain our existence in this competitive environment with the best products and the best service.

Sorularıma Pandemi dönemiyle başlamak istiyorum. Bu periyotta ne gibi deneyimler elde ettiniz?

Ülkelerin iktisadi durumunu ve tüm insanların sosyal-psikolojik yaşamını etkileyen pandemi periyodu, bizim gibi üreticileri doğrudan etkiledi. Bu bağlamda bazı yeni deneyimler elde ettik. Hammadde ve yedek parça konusunda bazı sorunlar yaşandı ve bu dönemde bu girdilerin önemini daha iyi kanıksadık. Pandemi periyodunda, inovasyon ve aşırı stok yapmak biraz risklidir. Bu yüzden, daha dengeli olmamız gerektiğini tecrübe ettik.

Üretim kapasiteniz ve ürün çeşitleriniz hakkında bilgi alabilir miyim?

Üretim kapasitemiz, yılda ortalama 25000 yatak diyebiliriz. Bu rakam, üretilecek ürüne ve ölçüsüne göre değişiklik gösterebilmektedir. Yatak çeşitliliği açısından visco, paket yaylı, bonel yaylı, doğal süngerli olarak birçok farklı yapıda ürünümüz var. Ayrıca, yatak kumaşının renk, desen ve kumaş içeriğini de eklersek oldukça zengin ürün çeşitliliğine sahibiz. Yatak üretimimizin yanında baza ve başlık üretimimiz de bulunmaktadır. Yine aynı şekilde baza ve başlık üretiminde, renk ve model çeşitliliğimizi artırmak için çalışıyoruz.

Müşterileriniz, online ticaret için size nasıl ulaşabilir? Ayrıca, tüketicilerle ilişkilerinizi geliştirmek için e-ticaret üzerinde ne tür çalışmalarınız var?

E-ticaret alanında müşterilerimizin ürünlerimize ulaşması ve satın alma işlemlerini yapabilmesi için altyapımızı tamamladık. İnternet müşterilerimiz www.uyumyatak.com.tr web adresimizden, tüm ürünlerimizin yenilenmiş görsellerine, ölçü, fiyat ve özellik bilgilerine kolayca ulaşabilirler. Müşterilerimize, taksit ve banka kartları seçenekleri sunuyoruz ve e-ticarette oldukça yaygın ödeme platformu olan iyzico ile çalışıyoruz. Genel olarak yenilik ve araştırma işlemlerinin hiçbir zaman durmaması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz. ‘’Değişmeyen tek şey değişimin kendisidir’’ mantığı ile her zaman yeniliğe açık olan bir üretim anlayışını belirliyoruz. Bu bağlamda, günümüzün ihtiyaçlarına yönelik yenilenebilen, doğal materyaller içeren ve hijyenik ürünler ile en iyi teknolojiye sahip ürünlerimizi müşterilerimize sunuyoruz. Bayilerimizden olumlu geri dönüşler alıyoruz ve AR-GE çalışmalarımıza hız kesmeden devam ediyoruz.

Sağlık sorunu yaşayan veya ağır şartlarda çalışan insanlara özel ürünler tasarlıyor musunuz? Bu konuda ne tür çalışmalarınız var?

Her yaşa, her kiloya ve farklı yaşam tarzlarına göre çeşitli yataklar tasarlıyoruz. Günün uzun zaman dilimini ayakta geçirenler, az ya da çok spor yapanlar, bel ağrısı olanlar, omuriliği ile rahatsızlığı bulunanlara yönelik birçok ürün üretiyoruz. Bu alanda, ciddi bir tecrübe sahibiyiz ve en uygun materyalleri bir araya getirerek hybrid yataklar yapıyoruz. Kalitemiz ve teknolojik ürünlerimizle, müşterilerimizi en iyi hizmeti vermeye çalışıyoruz.

Sizin ürünlerinizi sektörde farklı yapan temel nedenleri de öğrenmek istiyorum.

Bu nedenle tercih edilen ve sektör içerisinde sevilen bir markayız. Bu konuda rakiplerimizden farklı olduğumuzu biliyoruz. Çevremizden de çeşitli övgüler alıyoruz. Bu tip durumlar bizi daha motive ediyor ve müşterilerimize karşı hizmet anlayışımızı yükseltiyor.

Hangi bölgelere ihracat yapıyorsunuz, bu konudaki genel görüşleriniz nelerdir? İhracatınızın toplam satışınızdaki oranını da öğrenmek istiyorum.

Ukrayna, Bulgaristan, Mısır, Yunanistan ve Türki Cumhuriyetlere ihracat yapıyoruz. Dış pazarda da gelişerek uluslararası şirketler arasında yer alıyoruz. Genellikle, Avrupa’ya ihracatımız daha sık oluyor fakat pandeminin başlaması ile birlikte ihracatımız aksaklığa uğradı. Fransa, Almanya, Sırbistan ile pandemi öncesi iyi bir çalışma fırsatı yakaladık. Avrupa haricinde Libya ile de çalışmalarımız oldu. Son olarak, ihracatımızın genel satışımıza oranı ise %10 seviyesindedir.

Sektördeki hedeflerinizi ve planlarınızı sorarak röportajımızı sonlandırıyorum.

Sektörde uzun yıllardır hizmet veriyoruz. Tecrübelerimizin avantajını ve saygınlığını bilerek, müşterilerimize yönelik sorumluluğumuzu yerine getirmek istiyoruz. Bizim en büyük hedefimiz budur. Diğer taraftan, çeşitli yenilikler yaparak her türlü ihtiyacı karşılamayı planlıyoruz. Son yıllarda uyku sektörü fazlasıyla genişledi ve rakiplerimiz arttı. İyi bir rekabet ortamı oluştu. Biz de bu rekabet ortamında, en iyi ürünler ve en iyi hizmetle varlığımızı sürdürmeyi amaçlıyoruz.

Konfor Yatak, which started production in Izmir in 1978, has turned into a brand that exports to many countries with its innovative designs and quality products. The company that achieves its success by working passionately, brings quality, design and comfort to people’s homes by following fashion trends closely. Selçuk Akkuş, the Brand Director of Konfor Yatak, which aims a global vision, shared details of their work and goals with us. Emphasizing that the company combines technology and quality with its modern line, Selçuk Akkuş gave clues about the choices of mattresses.

How did you get through the pandemic period that affected the future plans and put the world in uncertainty? What kind of thoughts did you have?

We are going through a period we have hardly ever experienced before. It is not yet known exactly how the business world will take shape at the end of this period. Some people argue that as soon as the pandemic is over, they will start working in the old way, while others argue that a new transformation will begin. After such a chaotic time, companies need to work on future lifestyles. We must decide what will change and make progress on these issues. As Konfor Yatak, we are preparing for the new period by reviewing all processes.

What are your goals in the production phase and the factors you are most meticulous about?

We want to make order production to ensure effective use of working capital and accelerate cash flow. On the other hand, we plan to eliminate non-value-added processes in the factory by making effective planning and continuous development with the philosophy of working without stock for products and raw materials. We want to design our own philosophy in our production phase without wasting, and we work very meticulously in our production phase.

We continue our production with the precautions we take without compromising health and hygiene in our production facilities. During the pandemic period, we were awarded the “TSE COVID-19 Safe Production Certificate” by fulfilling the requirements of the “TSE COVID-19 Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Certification Program” determined by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE). Our top priority is to manage the changing conditions with epidemics in the best way and to protect the health of our customers and employees.

What kind of work do you have in the field of e-commerce? I am curious about your goals in this area.

According to TurkStat statistics the 15.8 percent of Turkey’s population (12 million 983 thousand 97) constitute young people in the 15-24 age group. With this rate of Turkey, it stands out as the country with the youngest population in Europe.

We think that the generation Z has not fully started shopping yet. We are aware that when Generation Z starts shopping, the understanding of retail shopping will change 360 degrees. According to an article on businessinsider.com, brands are prepared for people between the ages of 13 and 21 who are involved in the workforce and become a force in the economy. Brands that want to have a good place in the next shopping wave do not want to miss a good income opportunity.

In addition, experts point out that the generation Z is not in any way similar to the previous generation and should be considered as different people with unique experiences, beliefs and behaviors. It is stated that the generation Z, which will change the way of shopping, will greatly affect every field.

Marcie Merriman, Ernst & Young’s Executive Director of Growth Strategy and Retail Innovations, says the generation Z has a lack of loyalty compared to past generations. According to a research by Euclid Analytics, Generation Z is expected to have a greater impact on retail shopping than previous generations, according to the article on Thebalancesmb.com. In other words, a big change is predicted in the retail field. As Konfor Yatak, we are working on a separate collection that we plan to sell only online to keep up with this change. We plan to conduct brand research here, including the marketplaces, in the form of inhouse on our online website.

Do you have R&D processes? What are you planning to do in this regard to add something new to the sector?

We prioritize design, trends and innovation. We adopt the innovation culture and approach. Unlike our competitors, our Product Development, R&D, Product Management and Marketing departments are located in the same place. For this reason, we can produce products very quickly. Because the interaction within our departments is very strong, we can easily reflect it to R & D when product information comes to us or when marketing requests something from us.

What kind of innovative products do you have to make a difference in the sector? What is the most important factor that distinguishes you from other brands?

We have a main design focus, and we reflect the products we want to this design. Our designs in sleep products are always customer-oriented. It is very important for us that the product is ergonomic and accessible at the same time. As Konfor, we strengthened our work in spring production, unlike other brands. We started to sell springs all over the world at the same time with these new facility investments. Such reasons easily distinguish us from other brands.

What are you doing to improve sleep quality and make it more efficient? Do you have any work specifically for adults and children?

We are trying to better determine the needs of the consumers with the Konfor Yatak Test Robot. We examine the results from the test robot and use it in our product development and R&D processes. We inform all our retail and dealer employees with Konfor Yatak Trainings that determine the needs of the consumer. Until today, we have provided Konfor Sleep Expertise and mattress trainings to nearly 400 colleagues under the umbrella of Konfor Academy. We think that the needs of adults and children are different, so we are preparing a separate collection for our young consumers.

How is your exports going and what kind of goals do you have in this regard? Also, are you satisfied with your exports?

We are one of the leading companies in the sector in export with our export figures of approximately 20 million dollars. In terms of export, we are trying to further increase our income with the sale of mattress springs as well as products. We produce special products for export customers, who have a significant share in our total income.

Do you follow the developments in the mattress sector, and do you implement these changes quickly?

We are a brand that has been producing mattresses for 43 years. We have been serving in our own stores and corporate franchise stores with our renewed face for about 3 years. We currently have 60 stores. We aim to increase the number of these stores to 200 in 2024. With our new face, we continue to workday and night to offer better privileges to our customers who are 100% satisfied with the Konfor brand. We attach great importance to comfort, technology and health issues in our products.

What do you want your customers to pay attention to when buying a mattress? I am curious about your opinion on this matter.

First of all, our customers need to determine the right mattress for them. When determining your mattress size, lie on one end of the bed and stretch your arm to the other to ensure your comfort. When you lie down in this way, your elbow should stay inside the mattress. This issue becomes even more important for double mattresses.

Also, when choosing a mattress, you need to learn from what materials the mattress is made. The mattresses with the right content have a constantly breathing structure with air ducts. They prevent excessive sweating or coldness and keep the body temperature constant during sleep. Pocket spring technology, which is the latest trend in spring technology, can also be preferred for all ages.

On the other hand, we should choose our products according to our weight and height ratio. By paying attention to all these factors, we aim to bring the right mattress to the consumer with the mattress selection assistant. In addition, the hardness of the mattress is important for comfort, but this issue differs from consumer to consumer according to the lying position during sleep.

You work very regularly from the production stage to the moment you deliver your product to the consumer. After these processes, I want to learn what kind of goals you have in the future.

We want to gain significant success abroad with the support of the Turqualty program. This is the biggest goal for us. We aim to prove to the whole world that our country has quality products. We want to be one of the first brands that people think of in the national market.

Bütün gelecek planlarını etkileyen ve dünyayı büyük bir belirsizliğe düşüren pandemi dönemini nasıl geçirdiniz? Ne tür düşünceleriniz oldu?

Daha önce neredeyse hiç karşılaşmadığımız bir dönemin içinden geçiyoruz. Bu dönemin sonunda, iş dünyası nasıl şekillenecek şimdilik merak konusu. Kimileri pandemi biter bitmez eski usul çalışma hayatına geçileceğini savunurken kimileri de yeni bir dönüşümün başlayacağını savunuyor. Böylesine kaotik bir zamanın ardından, şirketlerin gelecek yaşam biçimleri üzerinde kafa yormaları gerekiyor. Nelerin değişeceğine karar vermemiz ve bu konularda ilerleme göstermeliyiz. Konfor Yatak olarak bütün süreçleri gözden geçirerek yeni dönem için hazırlanıyoruz.

Üretim aşamasındaki hedefiniz ve en titiz davrandığınız konular nelerdir?

İşletme sermayesinin etkin kullanımını sağlamak ve nakit akımını hızlandırmak için sipariş üretimi yapmak istiyoruz. Diğer taraftan mamul ve ham madde için stoksuz çalışma felsefesine dayanan etkin planlama ve sürekli geliştirme ile fabrika içerisindeki tüm katma değeri olmayan süreçleri ortadan kaldırmak hedefindeyiz. İsraf yapmamaya dikkat ederek üretim aşamamızda kendi felsefemizi oluşturmayı istiyoruz ve bu düşünceyle üretim aşamamızda çok titiz çalışıyoruz.

Üretim tesislerimizde, sağlık ve hijyenden asla ödün vermeden aldığımız önlemlerle üretimimizi sürdürüyoruz. Büyük önlemler alınması gereken pandemi periyodunda, Türk Standartları Enstitüsü’nün (TSE) belirlediği, “TSE COVİD-19 Hijyen, Enfeksiyon Önleme ve Kontrol Belgelendirme Programı” şartlarını yerine getirerek “TSE COVID-19 Güvenli Üretim Belgesi”ni almaya hak kazandık. Salgın hastalık ile değişen koşulları en iyi şekilde yönetmek, müşterilerimizin ve çalışanlarımızın sağlığını korumak en büyük önceliğimizdir.

E-ticaret alanında ne tür çalışmalarınız var? Bunların yönetimini nasıl yaptığınızı merak ediyorum. Bu alanda ne tür hedefleriniz var?

TÜİK istatistiklerine göre Türkiye nüfusunun yüzde 15,8’ini (12 milyon 983 bin 97) 15-24 yaş grubundaki genç nüfus oluşturuyor. Bu oran ile Türkiye, Avrupa’nın en genç nüfusuna sahip ülkesi olarak öne çıkıyor.

Z kuşağının, henüz alış verişe tam olarak başlamadığını düşünüyoruz. Z kuşağı alış verişe başladığında perakende alışveriş anlayışının, 360 derece değişeceğinin farkındayız. Businessinsider.com’da yer alan bir yazıya göre markalar, iş gücüne dahil olan ve ekonomide bir güç haline gelen 13 ve 21 yaş arasındaki insanlar için hazırlanıyor. Bir sonraki alışveriş dalgasında iyi bir yere sahip olmak isteyen markalar, iyi bir gelir fırsatını kaçırmak istemiyor.

Ayrıca uzmanlar Z neslinin önceki neslin bir uzantısı olmayacağını, onların benzersiz deneyimleri, inançları ve davranışları olan farklı bir grup insan olarak düşünülmesi gerektiğini belirtiyor. Alış veriş yapma biçimlerini değiştirecek Z neslinin,  her alanı fazlasıyla etkileyeceği ifade ediliyor.

Ernst & Young’ın, Büyüme Stratejisi ve Perakende Yenilikleri İcra Direktörü Marcie Merriman, bu nesilde geçmiş nesillerde olan sadakatin olmadığını söylüyor. Thebalancesmb.com’da yer alan yazıda, Euclid Analytics tarafından yapılan bir araştırmaya göre Z neslinin, perakende alış veriş davranışı üzerinde önceki nesillerden daha büyük bir etkisi olması bekleniyor. Yani perakende alanında büyük bir değişim öngörülüyor. AR-GE çalışmalarınız var mı? Bu konuda, sektöre yeni bir soluk getirmek için neler yapmayı planlıyorsunuz?

Biz; tasarıma, trendlere ve inovasyona öncelik veriyoruz. Yenilik kültürünü ve yaklaşımını benimsiyoruz. Rakiplerimizden farklı olarak ayrıştığımız nokta şu ki; ürün geliştirme, AR-GE, Ürün Yönetimi ile Pazarlama bölümlerimiz aynı yerde bulunuyor. Bu sebeple, çok seri bir şekilde ürün çıkarabiliyoruz. Ayrıca bölümlerimiz içerisinde etkileşim çok kuvvetli olduğu için bir ürün bilgisi geldiğinde veya pazarlama bizden bir şey istediğinde çok kolay bir şekilde AR-GE’ye yansıtabiliyoruz.

Sektörde farklılık yapmak adına ne tür inovatif ürünleriniz var? Sizi, diğer markalardan ayıran en önemli unsur nedir?

Ana tasarım odağımız var ve istediğimiz ürünleri bu tasarıma yansıtıyoruz. Uyku ürünlerindeki tasarımlarımız hep müşteri odaklıdır. Ürünün ergonomik ve aynı zamanda ulaşabilir olması bizim için çok önemlidir. Konfor olarak diğer markaların aksine yay üretimindeki çalışmalarımızı kuvvetlendirdik. Bu yeni tesis yatırımları ile aynı anda tüm dünyaya yay satışı yapmaya başladık. Bu tür nedenler bizi kolaylıkla diğer markalardan ayırıyor.

Uyku kalitesini artırmak ve daha verimli bir hale getirmek için neler yapıyorsunuz? Yetişkinler ve çocuklar özelinde bir çalışmanız var mı?

Konfor Yatak Test robotu ile tüketicilerin ihtiyaçlarını daha iyi bir şekilde belirlemeye çalışıyoruz. Buradan gelen sonuçları inceleyip ürün geliştirme ve AR-GE sürecimizde kullanıyoruz. Tüm mağazacılık ve bayi çalışanlarımızı, tüketicinin ihtiyacını belirleyen Konfor Yatak Eğitimleri ile besliyoruz.  Bugüne kadar 400’e yakın çalışma arkadaşımıza Konfor Akademi çatısı altında Konfor Uyku Uzmanlığı ve yatak eğitimleri verdik. Yetişkinler ve çocukların ihtiyaçlarının farklı olduğunu düşünüyoruz ve bu nedenle genç tüketicilerimiz için ayrı bir koleksiyon hazırlığı yapıyoruz.

İhracatınız nasıl gidiyor ve bu konuda ne tür hedefleriniz var? Ayrıca yaptığınız ihracat sizi memnun ediyor mu?

Yaklaşık 20 Milyon dolarlık ihracat rakamlarımız ile İhracatta sektörün önde gelen firmalarından biriyiz.  İhracat konusunda mamullerin yanı sıra yataklık yay satışı ile gelirimizi daha da artırmaya çalışıyoruz. Toplam gelirimizdeki önemli bir payı olan İhracat müşterileri için kendi bölgelerine özel ürünler üretiyoruz.

Yatak sektöründeki gelişmeleri takip ediyor musunuz ve bu değişiklikleri hangi hızda uygulamaya çalışıyorsunuz? 

Biz 43 yıldır yatak üreten bir markayız. Yaklaşık 3 yıldır yenilenmiş yüzümüz ile kendi mağazalarımızda ve kurumsal franchise mağazalarımızda hizmet veriyoruz. Şu anda 60 mağazaya sahibiz. 2024 yılında bu mağazaların sayısını 200’e çıkarmayı hedefliyoruz. Yeni yüzümüzle, Konfor markasını kullanan ve %100 memnun kalan müşterilerimize daha iyi ayrıcalıklar sunmak için gece gündüz demeden çalışmalarımıza devam ediyoruz. Ürünlerimizdeki konfor, teknoloji ve sağlık konularını oldukça önemsiyoruz.

Müşterilerinizin, yatak alırken hangi konulara önem vermesini istersiniz? Bu konudaki görüşlerinizi merak ediyorum.

Müşterilerimizin öncelikle kendileri için en doğru yatağı belirlemesi gerekiyor. Yatak ölçünüzü belirlerken konfor alanınızı sağlamak için yatağın bir ucuna yatın ve kolunuzu diğer tarafa uzatın. Bu şekilde uzandığınızda dirseğiniz yatağın içinde kalmalıdır. Çift kişilik yataklarda bu konu daha da önem kazanıyor.

Ayrıca yatak seçerken yatağın hangi malzemelerden üretildiğini öğrenmeniz gerekmektedir. Doğru içeriğin kullanıldığı yataklar, hava kanalları ile birlikte sürekli nefes alan bir yapıya sahiptirler. Aşırı terleme veya üşümeyi engeller ve vücut ısısını uyku esnasında sabit tutarlar. Yay teknolojisinde en son trendin olduğu paket yay teknolojisi de her yaş için tercih edilebilir.

Öte yandan, kilo ve boy orantısına göre ürünlerimizi seçmemiz lazım. Biz, bütün bu unsurlara dikkat ederek yatak seçim asistanı ile doğru yatağı, tüketici ile buluşturmayı hedefliyoruz. Ayrıca yatağın sertliği konfor için önemlidir ama bu konu uyku esnasında, yatış pozisyona göre tüketiciden tüketiciye farklılık gösterir.

Üretim aşamasından, ürününüzü tüketiciye ilettiğiniz ana kadar çok düzenli çalışıyorsunuz. Bu çalışmaların ardından gelecekte ne çeşit hedeflere sahip olduğunuzu öğrenmek istiyorum.

Konfor Yatak olarak Turqualty markasının desteği ile yurt dışında önemli başarılar kazanmak istiyoruz. Bizim için en büyük hedef budur. Ülkemizin kaliteli ürünlere sahip olduğunu bütün dünyaya kanıtlamayı amaçlıyoruz. Ulusal pazarda insanların aklına ilk gelen markalar arasında olmak istiyoruz.

Niron Yatak wins “Furniture Brand of the Year” award

Stating that they were very happy to receive the “Furniture Brand of the Year” award, Eren Çağlar Niron, the founder of Niron Yatak, emphasized that this award was very important for them. Niron said, “We are doing great things with very big companies in the sector. We continue to take part in social responsibility projects in addition to these kinds of works. When we receive the reward for working in this way with such awards, our motivation to work increases more. I would also like to thank everyone who deemed us worthy of this award and the interest of our customers. We will continue to work with great concentration and satisfy our customers.”

“We are with our customers in all circumstances”

Underlining that they did not win the “Furniture Brand of the Year” award at the Diamond of Turkey awards, only by producing good products, Eren Çağlar Niron said that they also took part in social responsibility projects. Stating that they were providing mattresses to people who had to stay in tents free of charge during the earthquake in İzmir, Niron continued his words: “We are with our customers in any case. Unfortunately, we had a big earthquake in Izmir, but we did not leave our people alone in this process. We tried to do something for our people outside and sent mattresses to their tents. We stand by our country not only in good days but also in bad days.”

“We export to 25 countries”

Speaking about the pandemic period, Eren Çağlar Niron said that they experienced great despair at the beginning of the pandemic period, but they increased their sales by turning to e-commerce, which they know very well. Niron, “We have been selling in e-commerce for about 15 years, but during the pandemic period, we focused entirely on e-commerce and with our experience in this field, we brought our sales to a better point. As a company exporting to 25 countries, we easily solved every problem of our customers during the pandemic period. We saw that we could bring rational solutions to new conditions, and this made us very happy,” he said.

“We will open a warehouse in Germany”

Explaining their plans for the future, Eren Çağlar Niron emphasized that they are aiming to sell to hotels, hospitals and dormitories. Underlining that they want to sell to more countries with their own brands, Niron, “We are currently selling to countries such as Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria in Europe. We work regularly with Israel from the Middle East. We export to countries such as Ghana, Oman and Morocco from the African market. We deliver our products to Greece, Azerbaijan and many other countries. We are also planning to open a warehouse in Germany. There will be a showroom in our warehouse where we will do both retail and wholesale sales. Thanks to this warehouse, we will bring more foreign currency to our country. One of our biggest goals is to contribute to the economy of our country. For this reason, we will open our warehouse in Germany as soon as possible,” he concluded his words.

 

Niron Yatak, “Yılın Mobilya Markası” seçildi

Şirket, Tüm Tüketicileri Koruma Derneği tarafından Diamonds of Turkey ödüllerinde, “Yılın Mobilya Markası” ödülüne layık görüldü.

“Yılın Mobilya Markası” ödülüne layık görüldükleri için çok mutlu olduklarını ifade eden Niron Yatak’ın kurucusu Eren Çağlar Niron, bu ödülün kendileri için çok önemli olduğunu vurguladı. Niron, “Sektörde çok büyük firmalarla çok büyük işler yapıyoruz. Bu tür işlerin yanında, bir de sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde yer almayı sürdürüyoruz. Bu şekilde çalışmanın karşılığını, bu tür ödüllerle aldığımızda çalışma isteğimiz daha fazla artıyor. Bizi bu ödüle layık gören herkese ve müşterilerimizin ilgisine de ayrıca teşekkür ediyorum. Büyük bir konsantrasyonla çalışıp müşterilerimizi memnun etmeye devam edeceğiz,” şeklinde konuştu.

Diamond of Turkey ödüllerinde, “Yılın Mobilya Markası” ödülünü, sadece iyi ürünler üreterek kazanmadıklarının altını çizen Eren Çağlar Niron, ayrıca sosyal Sorumluluk Projelerinde de yer aldıklarını söyledi. İzmir’deki deprem boyunca, hiçbir karşılık beklemeden çadırlara yatak yardımı yaptıklarını belirten Niron, sözlerini şu şekilde sürdürdü: “Biz, her durumda müşterimizin yanındayız. Maalesef İzmir’de büyük bir deprem yaşadık ama biz bu süreçte insanlarımızı yalnız bırakmadık. Dışarda kalan insanlarımız için bir şeyler yapmaya çalıştık ve onların çadırlarına yatak gönderdik. Sadece iyi günlerde değil, kötü günlerde de ülkemizin yanındayız.”

 “25 ülkeye ihracat yapıyoruz”

Pandemi dönemine de değinen Eren Çağlar Niron, Pandemi döneminin başlarında büyük bir umutsuzluk yaşadıklarını fakat çok iyi bildikleri e-ticarete yönelerek satışlarını daha da artırdıklarını söyledi. Niron, “Biz yaklaşık 15 yıldır e-ticaret üzerinden satış yapıyoruz ama pandemi döneminde bütün yoğunluğumuzu e-ticarete vererek bu alandaki tecrübemizle beraber satışlarımızı daha iyi bir noktaya getirdik. 25 ülkeye ihracat yapan bir firma olarak, pandemi periyodunda da müşterilerimizin her sorununu kolaylıkla çözdük. Yeni koşullara, akılcı çözümler getirebileceğimizi gördük ve bu bizi çok mutlu etti,” dedi.

 “Almanya’da depo açacağız”

Geleceğe yönelik hedeflerinden de bahseden Eren Çağlar Niron, otellere, hastanelere ve yurtlara satış yapma hedeflerinde olduklarını belirtti. Kendi markalarıyla, daha çok ülkeye satış yapmayı istediklerinin altını çizen Niron, “Şu anda Avrupa’da İsveç, Hollanda, Belçika, Almanya ve Avusturya gibi ülkelere satış yapıyoruz. Orta Doğu’dan İsrail ile düzenli bir şekilde çalışıyoruz. Afrika pazarından Gana, Umman, Fas gibi ülkelere ihracat yapıyoruz. Yunanistan, Azerbaycan ve daha birçok ülkeye ürünlerimizi ulaştırıyoruz. Ayrıca Almanya’da bir depo açmayı planlıyoruz. Hem perakende hem de toptan satış yapacağımız depomuzun içerisinde showroom da olacak. Bu depomuz sayesinde ülkemize daha fazla döviz getireceğiz. En büyük amaçlarımızdan birisi ülkemizin ekonomisine katkı sağlamaktır. Bu nedenle Almanya’daki depomuzu en kısa sürede açacağız,” diyerek sözlerini tamamladı.

We talked to Aynur Erman, the owner of STS Uyku Çözümleri, which wants to strengthen its position in the sector with its expert team and experienced staff. Aynur Erman mentioned that they are doing very important work on sleep systems and that they want to sell all over the world in the future.

Has your production been disrupted during the pandemic period? Could you give information about what kind of precautions you have taken?

During the pandemic period, our priority has been our employees, as always. We have taken various measures to protect their health. Our company provided all kinds of hygienic conditions. We paid attention to cleanliness in order to work safely as a team. Thus, we did not experience a negative situation during the pandemic process. We experienced a small amount of loss in production but we managed to compensate for our loss by doing extra work.

Could you give information about your product range?

We produce movable mattresses and the mechanisms of these mattresses that support the health of people in their sleeping positions. In addition to this, we also produce metal bedsteads, bunk beds, baby beds, folding beds, drawers and lids.

What do you think about e-commerce? Are you going to start selling online?

We have understood the importance of e-commerce better, especially during the pandemic period. In this regard, our company received an intense demand from our customers. We do not want to stay out of this development. We started our infrastructure work to sell online. We will start our sales in e-commerce in a while. Our customers have waited eagerly. So, we will focus on internet sales for them as well.

I would like to hear your thoughts on R&D and innovation. What kind of work do you have on this subject?

R&D and innovation are indispensable for us. We attach great importance to our R&D department. We know that our innovation skills must be strong for the continuity of our brand value. We have adopted this idea as a principle. That’s why we bring the best technology machines to our company. We strive to produce our products under the best conditions. We never compromise on quality. We transfer our knowledge to mass production in high quality.

Do you do extra work to increase the sleep quality of your customers?

We have studies to improve sleep quality. For example, we produce movable mattresses for our customers with health problems such as sleep apnea and reflux to sleep more comfortably. Thus, our customers with health problems do not encounter any problems while sleeping and they start the day more energetically. One of the important issues for us is that our customers start the day comfortably and are not tired during the day. As a team, we aim to provide this comfort for our customers.

I also want to learn the main reasons that make your products different in the sector. How would you express this situation?

I think there are many reasons that make us different from our competitors in the sector. We are always with our customers. When our consumers encounter a problem, we solve it in a short time and they trust us in every matter. With our R&D and innovation studies, we continue our research for our customers to sleep more comfortably. Our efforts continue to achieve better all the time. Thus, our customers are satisfied with us and prefer us.

Which regions do you export to? What is the ratio of your exports to your total sales?

We export to a total of 22 countries, including Germany, the Netherlands and Israel. 95 percent of our production is on export.

Let’s end our interview by asking your goals in the sector.

We strive to be a well known brand all over the world. We want to be a preferred brand in the sector with the slogan of sleep systems is our job. Therefore, we work to the highest standards and we intend to reflect our quality to all of our customers. I have never doubted that we will be one of the best brands in the world with our expert and experienced team.

Pandemi periyodunda üretiminiz aksadı mı? Ne tür önlemler aldığınız hakkında bilgiler verebilir misiniz?

Pandemi periyodunda, önceliğimiz her zaman olduğu gibi yine çalışanlarımız oldu. Onların sağlığını korumak için çeşitli önlemler aldık. Firmamız, her türlü hijyenik koşulları sağladı. Ekip olarak güvenli bir şekilde çalışmak için temizlik konusuna çok dikkat ettik. Böylece, pandemi sürecinde olumsuz bir durum yaşamadık. Üretimde, az miktarda kayıp yaşadık ama ek mesailerle kaybımızı telafi etmeyi başardık.

Ürün çeşitleriniz hakkında bilgi verebilir misiniz?

İnsanların uyku pozisyonunda sağlıklarını destekleyen, hareketli yataklar ve bu yatakların mekanizmalarını üretiyoruz. Bunun yanı sıra metal karyola, ranza, yavrulu yataklar, katlanır somyalar, çekmeceli ve kapaklı bazaların üretimini de yapıyoruz.

E-ticaret hakkında neler düşünüyorsunuz? İnternet üzerinden satışlara başlayacak mısınız?

Özellikle pandemi döneminde e-ticaretin önemini daha iyi anladık. Bu konuda firmamıza, müşterilerimiz tarafından yoğun bir talep oldu. Biz de bu gelişmenin gerisinde kalmak istemiyoruz. İnternet üzerinden satış yapmak için gerekli altyapı çalışmalarımıza başladık. Bir süre içerisinde, e-ticaret üzerinden satışlarımıza başlayacağız. Müşterilerimiz, bizi heyecanla bekledi. Bu yüzden, onlar için internet satışlarına da odaklanacağız.

AR-GE ve inovasyon konusundaki düşüncelerinizi almak istiyorum. Bu konuda ne gibi çalışmalarınız var?

AR-GE ve inovasyon bizim için vazgeçilmezdir. AR-GE bölümümüzü çok fazla önemsiyoruz. Marka değerimizin sürekli kalabilmesi için inovasyon becerilerimizin güçlü olması gerektiğini biliyoruz. Biz, bu düşünceyi ilke edindik. Bu yüzden, en iyi teknolojiye sahip makinaları firmamıza getiriyoruz. Ürünlerimizi, en iyi koşullarda üretmek için çalışıyoruz. Kalite konusunda asla taviz vermiyoruz. Bilgilerimizi, yüksek kaliteli bir şekilde seri üretime aktarıyoruz.

Müşterilerinizin, uyku kalitelerini artırmak için ek çalışmalar yapıyor musunuz?

Uyku kalitesini artırmak için çalışmalarımız mevcut. Örnek olarak uyku apnesi ve reflü gibi sağlık sorunları olan müşterilerimizin daha rahat uyumaları için hareketli yataklar üretiyoruz. Böylece, sağlık sorunları olan müşterilerimiz uyurken herhangi bir sorunla karşılaşmıyorlar ve güne daha enerjik bir şekilde başlıyorlar. Bizim için önemli konulardan birisi de müşterilerimizin, güne rahat başlaması ve gün içerisinde yorgun olmamasıdır. Biz, ekip olarak müşterilerimiz için bu rahatlığı sağlamayı amaçlıyoruz.

Sizin ürünlerinizi sektörde farklı yapan temel nedenleri de öğrenmek istiyorum. Siz bu durumu nasıl ifade edersiniz?

Biz, sektörde rakiplerimizden daha farklı yapan birçok neden var diye düşünüyorum. Biz, müşterilerimizin her zaman yanındayız. Tüketicilerimiz, bir problemle karşılaştığında kısa zaman içerisinde çözüyoruz ve her konuda bize güveniyorlar. AR-GE ve inovasyon çalışmalarımızla, müşterilerimizin daha rahat uyumaları için araştırmalarımızı sürdürüyoruz. Her zaman daha iyiye ulaşmak için çalışmalarımız devam ediyor. Böylece, müşterilerimiz bizden memnun kalıyorlar ve bizi tercih ediyorlar.

Hangi bölgelere ihracat yapıyorsunuz? İhracatınızın, toplam satışınızdaki oranı kaçtır?

Eachnight underlined that they will conduct studies to investigate the effects of napping on humans in detail. Stating that nap times have different benefits, the company will conduct various experiments on taking a nap and test people.

The statement made on the website of the Eacnight Company is as follows: “We know that taking a nap made with different lengths of time have different benefits. We want to test this topic and need your help. We will test our participants for 30 days and at the end of the study, we will give 1500 dollars. We will try to find the best short sleep time for our participants to feel energetic. We will also investigate the effects of naps on memory, motivation, and productivity. Our participants will need to participate in various experiments with detailed research.”

The company makes some requests from people to apply. It is emphasized that it is very important for the participants to have a good command of English. The company, which will take the participants to a detailed research, will have the participants talk in a video conference before and after the nap. Eachnight will conduct a verbal survey of its participants about naps and also ask them to write about their experiences in sleeping processes. Yatcop intends to open up to the whole world

Yatcop, founded in 2013, is the distributor of the world-famous Italian mattress company Tonino Lamborghini in Turkey. Yatcop, which has a license agreement until 2031 with the brand that produces 3.2 million mattresses every year, has more than 130 sales points in Turkey. The company owns the sales rights of the Tonino Lamborghini brand in 35 countries other than Turkey. We talked with Davut Altunbaş, owner of Yatcop, about their product range, R&D research and future targets.

As a brand working with Italians, did you have the chance to take action before the epidemic in Turkey? How did you cope with this process?

Each crisis has different opportunities within itself. Human beings also manage to come out of every crisis with different opportunities due to their nature. The pandemic period is one of the worst periods in human history. During the pandemic that caused tremendous problems around the world, it was difficult to continue working as manufacturing companies, but we had to work to serve people. During the pandemic period, we understood the benefits of partnerships with Italians.

The pandemic process in Italy started earlier than us and that’s why we had dialogues. We have taken various measures regarding the pandemic. We have already understood that we need to make commercial policies and financial management according to the new order. We determined the structure of our company according to the pandemic period. In this period, we have included innovative hygienic products into our lives. Therefore, we made a great progress as a company. I can say that we spend the pandemic period commercially efficiently.

I want to get information about your product range and usage areas.

We are doing brand management. We produce products in Italy and Turkey as outsourcing for our own brands. We prepare our products with great care and present them to the world markets. We have products for different usage areas. We produce different products for our in-home groups, hotel, dormitory and health tourism.

Which of your products is more preferred by your customers?

All of our products are of high quality. Therefore, there is a great demand for each of our products by our customers. This interest makes us very happy. We have innovative products at a very good level, but our most preferred product is our Silverstone product from our Lamborghini group. It is possible to say that this product is more popular.

We know you are open to innovative products. In this sense, what kind of R&D and innovation research do you have?

We are a company that is always changing. We are always trying to do better in R&D and innovation and we are open to innovations in every sense. We developed our “Magni Protech” product in our facilities in Italy. This product is one of our prominent products to deal with COVID19 during the pandemic period. On the other hand, we added our “Magni Smartech” model to our innovative product groups.

I also want to learn the main reasons that make your products different in the sector. How would you express this situation?

The main factors that make us different in the sector are that we are an innovative brand and we attach great importance to customer satisfaction. In addition to these, we are always with our customers with our quality products. We compensate all kinds of requests of our customers not only during the sales process, but also after the sale. We do not distinguish between pre-sales and post-sales. For this reason, we have managed to become a more preferred brand. All these make us a bigger brand in the industry.

How many countries do you export to? What is the ratio of your exports to your total sales? I am also curious about your export target for 2021.

We export to more than 35 countries. The ratio of our exports to our total sales was 70% in 2020. We think that this ratio should be equal in domestic and foreign markets.

Finally, what are your biggest goals in the industry?

We aim to reach every point of the world. We believe, we will be a brand that will compensate each customer’s demands. We will be happier if a company from Turkey gains great success around the world. As a team, we think that we will always be one of the best companies with our regular and correct working method.

Her kriz kendi içerisinde farklı fırsatlar barındırıyor. İnsan da doğası gereği her kriz içerisinden farklı fırsatlarla çıkmayı başarıyor.  Pandemi periyodu, insanlık tarihinin en kötü dönemlerinden birisidir. Dünya genelinde çok büyük sorulara neden olan pandemi döneminde üretici firmalar olarak çalışmaya devam etmek zordu fakat insanlara hizmet etmek için çalışmak zorundaydık. Biz, İtalyanlarla ortaklıklar yapmamızın faydasını pandemi periyodunda daha iyi anladık.

İtalya’daki pandemi süreci bize göre daha erken başladı ve bu sebeple çeşitli diyaloglar yaptık. Pandemiyle ilgili çeşitli tedbirler aldık. Yeni düzene göre ticari politikalar ve finansal yönetimler yapmamız gerektiğini daha önceden anladık. Şirketimizin yapısını pandemi dönemine göre belirledik. Bu periyotta, inovatif hijyenik ürünleri hayatımıza dahil ettik. Bu nedenle şirket olarak büyük bir ilerleme yaptık. Pandemi periyodunu, ticari olarak verimli bir şekilde geçirdiğimizi söyleyebilirim.

Ürün çeşitleriniz ve kullanım alanlarınızla ilgili bilgi almak istiyorum.

Biz, marka yönetimi yapıyoruz. Kendi markalarımıza fason nitelikte İtalya’da ve Türkiye’de ürünler üretiyoruz. Ürünlerimizi büyük bir titizlikle hazırlıyoruz ve dünya pazarlarına sunuyoruz. Farklı kullanım alanlarına yönelik ürünlerimiz var. Ev içi gruplarımız, otel, yurt ve sağlık turizmine yönelik farklı yapıda ürünler yapıyoruz.

Hangi ürününüz müşterileriniz tarafından daha fazla tercih ediliyor?

Bütün ürünlerimiz son derece kalitelidir. Bu yüzden, müşterilerimiz tarafından her ürünümüze büyük bir talep var. Bu ilgi bizi çok mutlu ediyor. İnovatif olarak çok iyi seviyede bulunan ürünlerimiz var fakat en fazla tercih edilen ürünümüz Lamborghini grubumuzdan Silverstone ürünümüzdür. Bu ürünümüzün daha fazla sevildiğini söyleyebilirim.

35’ten fazla ülkeye ihracat yapıyoruz. 2020 yılında, ihracatımızın toplam satışımızdaki oranı %70 oldu. Biz, bu oranın iç ve dış pazarlarda eşit olması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz.

Son olarak sektöre yönelik en büyük hedefleriniz nelerdir?

Dünyanın her noktasına ulaşabilmeyi hedefliyoruz. Her müşterinin taleplerini karşılayan bir marka olacağımıza inanıyoruz. The Algorithm Also Needs Help

The point that I always point out with sensitivity is the fact that the mattress is a personal product. Science has demonstrated through randomized studies that our body structure and the distance between limbs are extremely important in choosing a mattress. These studies have proven that muscle, bone, subcutaneous adipose tissue, body weight and distribution of weight in the body are extremely important when choosing a mattress. It is very important that we choose the suitable mattress for our sleep patterns, sleep habits, sleep problems and sleep time.
Basic factors such as height, weight, body type, and sleeping pattern are the starting point of existing algorithms. Algorithm construct aims to respond in the fastest way with as little information as possible. Therefore, the algorithm should not be expected to perform a correct analysis.
As always, I have to say that the majority of algorithms are used to make perceptions, except for the people who add value to their work and the people who do their job well. For this reason, algorithms are referred to agencies, not to people who are masters of the business.
I do not want to make a feeling that the current applications are inadequate, computer technologies cannot be used in mattress selection. So, what I am trying to say is that there is a lack of parameters and a lack of information on how to set up existing parameters. The application that emerged due to this deficiency is presented as the right option. We need to be determined to provide the truth and empower people to give the right support. If we empower people in this way, it is possible to produce algorithms that contain more parameters and produce more realistic results with much more economical ways and methods.
Why is it not enough?
The algorithm asks us for height and weight information but cannot interpret the regional weight distribution in our body. For this reason, the algorithm does not have an idea of how deep into the mattress the heavy areas such as shoulders and hips will sink and what the spine plane will be. The spinal plane is extremely important in terms of sleep hygiene. A mattress that cannot provide the correct support causes stretching of the spinal discs and ligaments throughout the night. Therefore, we wake up to a tired and painful morning.
The situation is not much different for the way of sleeping. You can give the algorithm the information that you are lying on your side, and the algorithm interprets this information and suggests a mattress. When we ask about the sleeping position information, the vast majority of people are not aware of exactly how they sleep because they are based solely on the position they are trying to sleep in. The vast majority of active sleepers sleep in mixed sleeping positions. These people, who frequently change positions during the night, are not even aware of the mobility. It is not possible for this highly personal information to be interpreted correctly by an algorithm.
What path should be followed?
Scientific data should take place before data based on informal observation in the algorithm setup. Taking advantage of actigraphy tests and sleep surveys are indispensable for a scientific algorithm. The material behavior of all mattresses offered for sale should be examined and the regional pressure should be determined with the help of the pressure mattress. For this, different morphotypes and age groups should contribute to the process as a subject. The number of subjects and body type diversity will increase the success rate.
Subjects should be allowed to try all mattresses for 5 hours, then 8 hours and be asked to score between 1 and 10 points after experience. The rate of movement during the night, the time between sleeping positions and the last sleeping position before waking should be reported. The position preferred by the subject involuntarily during sleep and the position chosen by the subject while awakening will be ready to be evaluated as an algorithm data.
Conditions such as the subjects’ feeling of comfort, pain conditions, opinions about sweating, morning energies, and perception of the hardness of the mattress should be learned by the survey method. It should also be classified in terms of age, body structure and sleeping pattern. The information collected should be real algorithm data and should be produced with scientific methodology.
Is the algorithm just enough?
The purpose of the algorithm is to reduce the number of options within the product range. Too many options will seriously confuse the customer. The purpose of the algorithm is not to pinpoint, but to contribute to the store presentation process. By eliminating inappropriate options, the algorithm gives the expert in the store qualified time for other options. During this time, the expert tries to understand which customer’s body structure the mattresses suggested by the algorithm fit perfectly. Therefore, the algorithm asks various questions and tries to satisfy the need.
The algorithm then allows the mattress to be tested and examines its effects on the spine axis. The straight spine line is an important sign of a homogeneous distribution of body weight. Immediately afterwards, the algorithm tries to understand the dermal pressure on the shoulder and hip by asking various questions. The mattress will begin to give an idea to the user after trying at least two different sleeping positions and a minimum of 15 minutes in total.
After evaluating sweating, allergic sensitivities and possible musculoskeletal problems, the person will have the right product for him. By eliminating the remote options of the algorithm, it is possible to get a good result thanks to the knowledge and experience of the expert advisor. The right product can be obtained by scientific production methods. The correct algorithm can be designed using data after human-product interaction. Consequently, the right institutions never compromise on these two factors.

When we look at this issue globally, it is necessary to find different solutions for the different needs of each region, because there are various differences between the product range used by each region.

This is clearly reflected in the product variety of many automobile companies. In multinational fast-food companies, we see that products are made according to regions and companies are named according to regions. At this point, we continue our R&D studies regularly.

What suggestions do you have to improve sleep quality? What do you think is the most important issue we should pay attention to when buying a mattress?

The important thing for us is that our products reach the ultimate consumer without any problems. We spend an average of 2700 hours a year on our bed/base. We should not look at this issue only as sleep quality. Therefore, it is important for us to experience both sleep quality and physical relaxation. The most important thing to pay attention to when buying a mattress is that the mattress is suitable for our physical characteristics. A person with a spinal cord problem cannot sleep comfortably on a very soft bed. A mattress that has regional spring distribution and feels different in the weight areas of the body will provide a more comfortable sleep and rest.

We are a customer-oriented company. We diversify our products according to the demands of our customers. A customer’s request from any country is very important to us. We increased the share of our production and sales in exports up to 70% in 2021. Exporting develops the manufacturer and gains different experiences. In addition, exports provide a great support to the development of our country. We export to European countries, the United States and neighboring countries. It is very important for us to produce more value-added products because we are a company that constantly improves our export volume.

We have a very big competitor like China in the global conjuncture. I think that our country and we can take a huge share in this competition with the Price/Benefit index. In this context, the pandemic period brought positive points to our country. I hope that we can make a lot of profit from this process and increase our export rate to 90%.

Our industry is huge and that’s why we need to work hard. We want to increase our production capacity, but it is more important for us to produce value-added products. In Europe and the United States, we aim to be more active. Therefore, we are planning to increase our sales channels. Türkiye’de çıkan orman yangınların söndürülmesinin ardından ihtiyaç sahibi bölgelere yardımlar devam ediyor. Bu kapsamda, İşbir Yatak Antalya’dan sonra Marmaris bölgesinde yangından zarar görmüş bölgelere yardım etmek için harekete geçti. İhtiyacı olan vatandaşların ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması adına, içerisinde yüzlerce yastık ve yatağın bulunduğu araç Marmaris Belediye’sine ulaştı.

 

Yaralarımızı saracağız

 

Konuyla ilgili açıklamalarda bulunan İşbir Holding CEO’su Metin Gültepe, “Ülkemizde çıkan yangınların söndürülmesi ile biraz da olsa rahat bir nefes aldık.
